Bright and smiling in matching formal wear, the Prince and Princess of Wales yesterday made their first public ‘business’ outing since the uproar caused by revelations in the book Endgame about racist comments allegedly made by the King Charles on Meghan Markle’s baby, when she first got pregnant.

William and Kate enjoyed a star-studded night as they attended the ‘Royal Variety Performance’ at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall – an annual event held since 1912 in support of the Royal Variety Charity, which supports those who work in the entertainment industry and are in need of care.
