BTS is urging their fans not to show up at the camps when they report for their military service.

Four members of BTS have asked fans not to gather outside the camps when they begin their mandatory military service.

K-pop stars worry that the presence of large numbers of fans may disturb other soldiers and their families.

The group’s record label BigHit Music has announced that RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are expected to report to the military next week. Three of the oldest members are already serving in the military.

South Korea is still technically at war with North Korea, so military service is mandatory.

BTS’ record label has asked fans not to visit the camps to prevent any safety accidents caused by congestion.

In a live chat on Weverse later Tuesday, the four members of BTS said they are looking forward to all getting back together as a group.

“We want to come back as soon as possibleJungkook said.

V said they’ll start to appreciate each other’s company more when they’re apart.

“Although most of the recruits will be younger, I am sure I will be able to learn new things by talking to themadded V, who is 27 years old.
