Stênio Garcia, 91, was hospitalized again after collapsing at home, this Wednesday (13). The actor was sunbathing in the garden of his house when he complained of dizziness and was helped by the caretaker. Rushed to a hospital in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio, he ended up being treated and diagnosed with hypotension, a consequence of a viral condition, which caused gastroenteritis at the beginning of the month. The actor remains under observation.
“He’s very weak. He’s been eating poorly due to the gastroenteritis and then he went to get some sun in the backyard. He felt sick, right?. The doctors said they’ll need to investigate further, even doing an endoscopy in the next few days, but they believe it’s nothing serious. It was really dizzy,” Mari Saade told F5.
Stênio’s wife also said that the actor will continue with serum therapy sessions, a treatment that is suitable for all age groups and covers cases related to nutritional deficiencies, intoxication, in addition to acting as a preventive measure against various diseases.
Stênio had been hospitalized last Wednesday (6) with vomiting and abdominal pain. At the beginning of July, he was hospitalized due to septicemia (generalized infection). A week earlier, he also ended up in hospital, after severe pain in his hip and legs, the result of inflammation in the sciatic nerve discovered a month earlier. At the same time, he had undergone facial harmonization and told the F5 who opted for the procedure to return to the screens.
