Farofa is a hit at Christmas; see recipes from TV and film stars

It’s already Christmas! Time to get together with family and friends and share good memories of the past year. It’s also time to work on your culinary skills and put all your effort into the dishes for dinner. O F5 brought together names that we love to see on television, in cinemas and on social media, sent them into the kitchen and they shared their most delicious Christmas recipes.

One of the dishes (okay, side dish, yes) most loved by artists — and also by most Brazilians — is farofa. But don’t expect an everyday recipe with butter and onion. Celebrities are fans of raisins (love them or hate them), apples, nuts and everything that is right on their plates.

Isabella Scherer’s farofa, winner of Masterchef 2021, has bacon, apples and a lot of Christmas scent. She says on Instagram that she is the “best farofa in the world”. Actress Bruna Spínola also has a recipe with traditional Christmas flavors, with nuts and olives.

Tom Prado, who plays Rick Bonadio in the film “Mamonas Assassinas”, likes to innovate and makes a classic wet farofa at home. A broth of olive oil and lemon makes it moist, unlike most dry farofas. See the recipes below.
