Beyoncé once again excited Brazilian fans by posting new photos from her surprise visit to Salvador, Bahia. The singer published on Instagram, in the early hours of Christmas, images holding the flags of Brazil and Bahia and also images on the plane that brought her to the country on Thursday (21) for a preview event for the documentary “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé”.
In the photos on the plane, she appears wearing a look by Minas Gerais designer Patrícia Bonaldi: an embroidered coat, an embroidered top and pants.
“I can’t believe she’s doing this,” commented the singer Majur. “The cutest thing,” said Ludmilla, who fulfilled her dream of talking to the American star while in Brazil. “She is Bahian, baby. We love you”, said Ivete Sangalo.
The Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes, thanked her in English and said that Bahia is the singer’s home.
One of the photos, on the plane, shows rapper Jay-z, Beyoncé’s husband, next to her, supposedly during the trip to Brazil.
Fans also noticed that the artist maintained the location on her Instagram as “Salvador, Bahia, Brazil”.
The “Club Renaissance” party, which promotes the documentary about Beyoncé’s tour, has already taken place in other cities around the world, but has never been attended by the singer. The film premiered in Brazil showing the journey of the “Renaissance World Tour”.
“It’s very important for me to be in Bahia,” said the singer. “I wanted you to be part of the tour, because you are the tour. ‘Renaissance’ is about freedom, beauty — everything you are. Thank you for all your support over the years. You are one of a kind, Bahia,” he concluded.
