Museum of Cycladic Art
On the occasion of the current exhibition “Chaeronea, August 2, 338 BC: A day that changed the world” and the bead worn as a talisman by one of the Macedonian warriors who fell in battle, the Cycladic Shop is inspired by different traditions and presents the new series of Cycladic Protection items, a collection of special gifts with powerful symbolism. Among them, the charms of the Museum of Cycladic Art for 2024: The “Gate of Prosperity”, a jewel inspired by the gates of ancient Greek houses decorated with Grypes, mythical beings of ancient civilizations, protectors of treasures, especially gold, which associated with home prosperity, protection and happiness. As well as the “Shield”, a piece of jewelry inspired by the Macedonian shield. The shield, already from the Homeric Epics, was considered one of the most important creations of man for his safety.

National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum
In the Shop of the Central Building of EPMAS you will find the charm of the National Gallery for 2024, inspired by the “Warrior Angel” by Giorgos Sikeliotis, an engraving from 1976 that belongs to their collection. It derives its form from the shape of the angel’s wings that grow dynamically claiming the future with courage and faith, like an open embrace that welcomes us all.
