Antonio Tabet talks about his supposed move to BBB 24 and pokes at Boninho: ‘People are fed up’

Antonio Tabet reacted with good humor to the rumors that he could be part of the cast of BBB 24, on Globo, which premieres on the 8th. His name started circulating on the networks thanks to a joke by columnist Chico Barney, from UOL.

In a text, Barney pointed out that some of the tips given by Boninho, director of the program, about participants in the next edition, indicated that Tabet was part of the cast. The actor jumped on the bandwagon and started posting on X (formerly Twitter) about the subject.

To the F5, Tabet says it was all a joke — on his part, at least. “I wasn’t invited. An invitation never arrived. Yet. (laughs)”, joked the comedian and one of the creators of Porta dos Fundos, who doesn’t hide it: deep down, deep down, he liked this story.

“When Chico Barney raised the possibility and I saw that the vast majority of people wanted to see me in the house, I was flattered”, he admits. “I thought no one would care when I read the note. After all, I don’t exactly have the profile of a reality contestant: I’m not in my 20s, I don’t drink much, I’m not a party person,” he says.

Tabet is not a big fan of BBB, but he watches the program quite often. “I watch some editions, yes. Not all of them. The last one, for example, I didn’t see. But the ones won by Juliette and Arthur Aguiar, I followed well”, he reveals.

Asked if he would accept an invitation from Boninho if the director called him to the reality show, the comedian says he wouldn’t know what to say yet. “I would have to read the contract carefully to know if he could do exactly what he found interesting to win the game”, he says. “Like I said, I don’t know if I would be good for the BBB dynamic”, he emphasizes.

“I would never stay on the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning, I wouldn’t get drunk and it wouldn’t harm my well-being in an endurance test. My qualities would be different”, he assesses.

Finally, Antonio Tabet thinks that the repercussion for his desire to join BBB 24 is a reflection of the end of a pattern created by Boninho for a long time.

“The repercussion proves that people are a little fed up with the ‘standard saradinho country cabin’ quality profile (laughs)”, he concluded.
