On the occasion of the British band’s 30th anniversary “Spice Girls” the British Post Office they released one their unique stamp collection.

It’s the first time a female pop group has been captured on an entire series of stamps, capturing their best moments.

The band members stated “thrilled that Royal Mail is honoring them alongside some of music’s most iconic and influential legends».

The collection includes 15 stamps, ten of which capture moments from their legendary performances from 1997 to 2012. Included is their appearance at the Brit Awards in 1997 as well as their participation in the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

Also all the members of the group have their own stamp, from a 1997 photo shoot for the musical comedy “Spice World” directed by Bob Spier.

They are the sixth band to be honored with a collector’s stamp issue after The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022 and Iron Maiden in 2023.

The Spice Girls hit the music scene in 1994 and became one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide.

According to Sky News, the stamps will be available for purchase from January 11th.
