An emergency teleconference will take place today, Friday 05/01 at 5 pmunder the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Vassilis Kikilia, in view of the Emergency Weather Deterioration Bulletin (EDEK) issued today by the National Meteorological Service.
According to the EMY, the deterioration of the weather in our country will begin late Saturday afternoon with heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty southerly winds.
The weather will affect Epirus, the Ionian Islands, Western Greece and the Peloponnese.

The Regional Governors of Epirus Alexandros Kahrimanis, Ioannis Trepeklis of the Ionian Islands, Nektarios Farmakis of Western Greece and Dimitrios Ptochos of the Peloponnese will also participate as well as the Director of the EMY Theodoros Kolydas and a scientific team of meteorologists.
