BBB 24: Yasmin Brunet, model and businesswoman, is confirmed in the reality show

Yasmin Brunet, 35, is confirmed in the cast of BBB 24 (Globo). After appearing on the lists of likely participants in the reality show for the last two seasons, the model got a spot. The competition starts next Monday (8).

The invitation came a year after she published a message online complaining about not being called, despite so much speculation about her name. “I didn’t go to BBB, but I would definitely go, and everyone knows that I would cause a lot. Here’s a tip, Boninho”, she wrote in 2023, tagging the director.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Yasmin is the eldest daughter of the muse of the 1980s and 1990s, Luiza Brunet, and says she is competitive, a characteristic inherited from her career in fashion, and that she does not like lies involving her name.

“I’m completely crazy, but I’m a good crazy person. I’m not afraid of being who I am. I’m a very true, authentic and eccentric person,” she says.

In early 2022, she launched the vegan beauty brand Yasmin Beauty. With only two products in the portfolio —a hair oil and vitamin capsules—, it ended the year with more than R$30 million in revenue.

The businesswoman enters the program single, but was married to model Evandro Soldati and later to surfer Gabriel Medina. In fact, this second marriage did not end well and she ended up becoming a topic on social media due to her exchange of public barbs with her ex-mother-in-law Simone.

Passionate about astrology, she says she is intuitive and very observant. She says she enjoys making friends and hopes to have more allies than rivals in the game. Just like singer Fiuk on BBB 21, the model hired a coach to help her before joining the program. The sister fears a possible virtual cancellation due to her lack of knowledge of some issues and also for making comments that could be considered offensive to black people and the LGBTQIA+ community.
