Fener, winner of the City derby, “closed” the… home of Efes!

Fener she was too tough to die and with Wilbekin (4/5 triples) as the star, she broke the resistance of the efes, prevailed 79-69 and improved her record to 3-3, while at the same time she recorded her second winning streak. The match

Ephesus entered the match very strongly and took an 8-0 lead in just the 2nd minute after three pointers by Larkin and Wyler Babb. Fener, on the other hand, could not follow the pace with the difference rising to 19-8, after a flurry of three-pointers by the home team, led by German Weiler Bubb, four minutes before the end of the first period. The visitors picked up the pace with Colson hitting a three to make it 53-51, just before Wilbekin made it 56-51, giving his team their biggest lead with 3′ 40” left. The derby continued with Kokoskov’s team tying the game with a 5-0 run, while the third period score was tied at 58-58 with Colson and Schmitz scoring for Fener and Efes.

Two well-placed 3-pointers from Colson and Wilbekin they gave Saras’ team a six-point lead (64-58) at the beginning of the 4th period, while Hall with a pair of shots raised the score to +8 (66-58). Efes was down 62-66 midway through the last quarter, but Wilbekin’s three-point shot made it 69-62, clipping the home team’s wings. In the remaining time, Fener managed its lead, despite the opponent’s efforts, with the final score being 69-79.
