Singer Rodriguinho, 45, was confirmed in the BBB 24 box.
Born in Bauru, in the interior of São Paulo, Rodriguinho began his career as a vocalist in the group Muleke Travesso, and later was part of Os Travessos, an offshoot of the original band.
In 2004, he began his solo career and became one of the best-known names in Brazilian pagode, creating several partnerships with Thiaguinho and scoring hits such as “Fugidinha”, “Leite condensed” and “Amizade é tudo”.
Rodriguinho has five children and two granddaughters, daughters of his eldest son Gaab, who is also a singer.
In 2021, his ex-wife Natália Damasceno, with whom he has two children, accused him of domestic assault.
Rodriguinho publicly apologized to his ex-wife and admitted that he “lost control”, but was never investigated for the attacks.
“Out of respect for my family, fans and friends, I would like to say, firstly, that I am against any type of violence. I declare that yes, I got excited, I lost control and I am ashamed of it. I apologize to Nanah, who is the mother of my children and the woman who I have always done everything I could to make her happy”, declared the musician at the time.
Currently, Rodriguinho is married to model Bruna Amaral.
The samba singer’s participation in BBB 24 was announced ahead of time on the Instagram profile of Clube Adelba, in Salvador, where Rodriguinho would perform on January 28th. In the post, which was deleted, the club stated that the show was canceled due to Rodriguinho’s entry into the reality show.
