BBB 24: Test of the leader without accessibility irritates the public on the web

The BBB 24 leader’s first test angered the program’s audience, who used the web to protest the lack of accessibility of the challenge, on Monday night (8).

During Globo’s live broadcast, the audience saw Paralympic medalist Vinicius Rodrigues, 29, having to remove his left leg prosthesis to complete an obstacle course.

The situation affected the performance of the brother, who holds the world record for the 100-meter dash in the T63 class for above-the-knee leg amputees.

Influencer Ivan Baron, 25, used the networks to comment on the fact, “we don’t want privileges for him, but there needs to be fairness in the competition so that his disability is not something that hinders his game!”

The test circuit, seen as capable on the web, was composed of four stages within the time limit stipulated by the production.

The first was a fall into the ball pit. In the second part, the inmates needed to leave the same pool using a ladder, it was in this part that the episode with the para-athlete took place.

Players had to crawl through a trench with green paint in the third stage of the circuit. After this saga, they had to press a button to confirm the completion of the circuit.

Sisters and brothers complained that the stage was slippery throughout the race due to the greenish liquid.

“I fell dry here,” said Maycon Cosmer, 35, from Santa Catarina, after falling from the device that launched participants into the ball pit, at around 2:40 am.

Singer Wanessa Camargo, 41, also felt the effects of the fall at around 2:54 am. “Cacildis”, exclaimed the participant after getting injured in the initial stage of the circuit.

The para-athlete commented on the difficulty while the other participants complained about the dangers, “for me it is difficult because of my prosthesis”, he said at around 3:12 am, this Tuesday (9). However, at 4am he had to go to the challenge again and reinforced “my leg can’t get wet”.

Seven minutes after the statement, the program’s production team announced that the confined person could exchange the prosthesis for one that could get wet. At 4:19 am, he replaced the adapted member and also apologized to the competitors.

The digital influencer Baron, who handed over the presidential sash last year to President Lula (PT), warned: “the error was live and Tadeu even tried to hide it. Let’s stay vigilant so that it doesn’t happen again in the future!”
