The 1974the Tokyo-based company Sanrio created a female anthropomorphic white cat with a bow and without a mouth. THE Hello Kitty first appeared on a vinyl coin purse in Japan and became global phenomenon with collaborations in fashion, arts, music, cosmetics and more – even team mascots.
This year they are completed 50 years since the appearance of Hello Kitty and the company is preparing its celebration Golden Jubilee of your favorite cartoon character.
Yoshiki, leader of the legendary band X Japan, was chosen by Sanrio to compose and produce the official song for Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary.

According to a press release, Yoshiki will be collaborating with high-profile music artists for the theme song, although no specific names have been announced so far.
