The fashion season kicks off on Tuesday with Paris Menswear Week and the Pharrell Williams where from musician to designer, to be the star player in the industry, which is increasingly dominated by celebrities.

The big fashion celebration from January 16 to 21 promises to be a mix of creativity, style and contemporary trends.

The hip-hop star is staging his second fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, following his debut last summer, when he took over the entire New Bridge, painted it gold and hosted high-profile guests.

This time, his show will take place in the Jardin d’Acclimatation park in western Paris, likely in the presence of the brand’s new ambassador, basketball player LeBron James.

At Men’s Fashion Week in Paris Balmain and Valentino are back after several years of absence due to the pandemic.

THE Givenchywho is involved in the event parted ways with menswear designer Matthew Williams this month and his replacement has yet to be announced.

They also participate Berluti, Acne Studios, Wales Bonner, Rick Owens, Dior Homme, LOEWE and many others.

Some houses chose to stay out of Fashion Week such as Saint Laurent, Celine and Jacquemus – the latter holding his show in Provence on January 29.

However, 42 brands hold runway shows during Menswear Week and another 32 present their new collections.
