Vladimir Brichta is in the cast of “Renascer” (Globo) and the character Egídio is the villain of the plot. Villain who orders the death of his rival, sexually and morally harasses his own wife and employees. The “colonel”, as he likes to be called, also keeps his employees in terrible conditions.
“Egídio’s scenes make my stomach turn, but I think it’s important to show all these villainies so that people can see that they are unacceptable things in our society”, says the actor on the launch night of the next 9pm soap opera on Globo this Wednesday ( 17).
The actor tells F5 that as soon as he found out about the casting of the remake of Benedito Ruy Barbosa’s plot, he wanted to be called. “All the soap operas that talk about Bahia, I want to do (laughs). I had that in my head and then, to my surprise, I was interviewed. I was supposed to do the first phase, but then Egídio came along…”, he joked. “Good characters and interesting stories always excite me.”
Vladmir also said that at the beginning of preparing the character he had help from his wife, Adriana Esteves, who worked on the first version. She played the girl Mariana. “Adriana helped me work on some scenes in my core and then she didn’t see anything from Mariana because it wasn’t in my script. I’m sure she, like everyone else, is curious to see the remake in general”, he concludes.
