Andressa Urach gives birth to her second child after high blood pressure spikes

Little Leon was born on the night of this Friday (11), son of model Andressa Urach, 34, and her husband, Thiago Costa. He was born premature, at the 34th week of pregnancy, but he is doing well and did not need to go to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit), as Andressa herself stated, on her YouTube channel.

The baby was born around 8 pm, measuring 46 centimeters and weighing around 2.5 kg. “He is beautiful people, he doesn’t seem to be a premature baby”, said the mother, who had been hospitalized for a few days, after having peaks of high blood pressure, feeling a headache and many contractions.

“The doctor thought it was better for me to win him because he had been suffering a lot for six days, I was, psychologically speaking, at my limit. They understood, then, that it was the best for Leon to arrive at that moment”, said Andressa in a video recorded still at dawn, straight from the hospital.

Costa had been updating fans about his wife’s health on social media. On the 6th, the publicist said that she had been transferred to the ICU, and said that, in addition to the couple’s personal items, he also needed to assemble the child’s maternity bag in case the delivery took place. “I’m in a hurry before the ambulance leaves,” she said.

Andressa, who is already the mother of 16-year-old Arthur, the result of a previous relationship, went through troubled periods after announcing her pregnancy, from financial problems to a separation from her husband and a legal fight against the Universal Church, followed by reconciliations with both.
