Academy Award-winning actress, Jodie Foster, guest on the famous show “The Tonight Show” admitted to Jimmy Fallon that she had other professional obligations when she was offered in the late 70’s to play Princess Leia in “Star Wars”.

“I was (proposed), yes. They wanted a younger Princess Leia, but I had a disagreement. I was doing a Disney movie and I didn’t want to pull out because I was already under contract. So I didn’t and you know, they did an amazing job.” Foster said characteristically.

“I don’t know how good I would be. I might have had different hair, you know. I might have gone with pineapple wool” the actress continued jokingly.

It is noted that the late Carrie Fisher played Princess Leia in the Star Wars series in 1977.

Foster, who turned 61 two months ago, revealed in a recent interview that she feels “happy” and “full” and called her birthday “one of the best” days of her life, reported the People.
