American actor, Rob Lowe, a guest on the TV show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ revealed that she accidentally sent a congratulatory message to Bradley Cooper instead of Robert Downey Jron the occasion of the Golden Globe he received for his performance as Louis Strauss in the film “Oppenheimer”.

It is noted that Cooper, who was nominated for the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama with “Maestro”his second directorial effort, lost to Downey Jr.’s co-star Cillian Murphy and “Oppenheimer.”

“Downey gives this amazing acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, and I’m so excited for him, I text him, ‘I’m so glad you won. This is the most beautiful thank you speech I have heard in a long time. Boy, you deserve it,” the actor said. “I sent it and realized I had just sent it to Bradley Cooper,” he noted.

The famous actor tried to correct his mistake by sending Cooper a second message.

“I said, ‘I’ve got to fix that,’ and I’m like, ‘No, I meant Robert Downey Jr.,’ but that was even worse! I made the man feel worse!” Lowe said with a laugh. “Terrible. I entered the wrong numbers in the contacts” he added.

When Jimmy Kimmel asked him if he finally managed to get in touch with Downey Jr. he said:

“No! I accidentally sent another one to Bradley. Again!” adding that she received a text from Cooper that read: “It’s okay, I like to live even through mistakes like this.”.
