Antigone 441 +, directed by Korai Damatis at the Alcmeni Theatre
The group Reonta Personas presents “Antigone 441 +”, directed by Korai Damatis and music by Dimitras Galanis and Giorgos Bousounis. It is an experimental approach to Sophocles’ work with six women performing all the roles of the tragedy – male, female and the dance – in a bold, double reading, connecting the drama to its religious origins, but also to its intense political element.
Every Saturday at 21:15 and Sunday at 18:15
From €5
Alcmenis Theatre, 8-12 Alkmenis, Athens

The elephant in the room: A stand-up comedy show with Giorgos Chatzipavlou at the Megaron Musikis
What is the elephant in the room? A stand-up comedy show about: The only 15 minutes a man can think clearly. The best time of every relationship. The puzzles and the traditional dances. Things that are written only in posts, because if you say them orally you will grow old alone. The universe that helps you find your other half, 500 meters away from your home. What you learn about dads on the playground. Life coaches and those who write in their profile “lover of light”. The way to discover who you really are and what you do, if you find yourself obnoxious. The right and wrong way to grow up and everything you would tell your teenage self. Those who call you numbers and names after sneezing, whether you like it or not. The relationship between a dick peak and the free economy. But also for all those, big or small, that we avoid talking about even though they are in front of us, like an elephant in the room.
Saturday 20/1 at 21:00
€12-27
Athens Concert Hall, Vasilissis Sofia and Petrou Kokkalis avenues, Ilisia

Everyone Here – 50 Years of Democracy at MoMus – Alex Mylonas Museum
Stone, wire, wood, plaster and crimson carnations frame a slogan that refers to the slogans of the student uprising at the Polytechnic, in November 1973 and is also the title of the historical exhibition “Everyone here. 50 years of Democracy” organized by the MOMus-Museum Alex Mylonas for the celebration of 50 years since the restoration of the Republic. The exhibition brings together works by four of the most important Greek visual artists of the post-war period, Vlasis Kaniaris, Dimitris Alithienou, Vassos Katrakis and A. Tassos, whose works were presented in exhibitions during the junta period or immediately after, as symbols of resistance and resistance, hope and democracy. The four artists were “present” with their work as an artistic expression, as a “political” position and attitude, consciously and unmediated, in one of the darkest periods of Greek history. In addition, the work of the visual artist Yiannis Pappas, who lives and works in Berlin, is presented in contrast to the exhibition, as a new approach towards memory and history, as a “bridge” between the past and the present.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 – 19:00, Thursday at 11:00 – 22:00
MOMus – Alex Mylonas Museum, 5 Agioi Asomaton Square, Athens
