Valesca Popozuda, 45, gave voice to the part of the public uncomfortable with attitudes considered disrespectful by the brothers in shows within BBB 24. The funk singer criticized machismo and the boxes that are seated in the presentations offered by the production, during the early hours of this Sunday (21 ).
Valesca’s first messages took place during the performance inside the house. The singer did not shy away from the songs about libido and female sexual freedom that marked her career.
Some of them, like “Mama”, were partnerships with Mr. Catra, who died in 2018. “He gave me a hand when I needed it most. So, nigger, you will always be with me. Today here you are together with people”, paid tribute to the funk singer.
The decision to keep the songs explicit had another meaning. Pagodeiro Rodriguinho, 45, criticized some lyrics by Ludmilla, 28, with content similar to Valesca’s, last week.
One of them was the song “Vem, Amor”, whose chorus mentions a sexual organ on another person’s face. “I don’t like it and I will never like it”, said the singer to Wanessa Camargo, 41, and Yasmin Brunet, 35. Valesca, in fact, made a point of singing the section criticized by the confined person during his 23-minute performance.
Please note. Rodriguinho’s son, composer Gaab, 25, also has songs with direct mention of genitals. This is the case of the hit “Tem Café”, from 2017.
Valesca took advantage of the time at the party to release a new song along the same lines. During the dance she went to the sofa where Rodriguinho was sitting. When she got close to him, she turned her back and went down to the floor. The ex-farmer’s sitting movement made the brother stand up so as not to be touched by her.
The name of the hit was one of the most talked about topics in Brazil on X (formerly Twitter).
The funk singer already participated in Fazenda in 2001 and was the third attraction of the fourth party of the Globo reality show. Before her, DJ Marlboro and Tati Quebra Barraco performed. Valesca expressed himself until after the end.
After the show, Valesca wrote about her performance on the social network, “there was a message for women to feel like divas with their bodies, there was Ludmilla’s song to insult, there was Beyoncé, there was Lady Gaga, and there was insult!!! Did you like the show? “
The singer’s message may be related to the comments, seen as sexist, that part of the male cast made to the bodies of confined women. The most famous case involved Rodriguinho and Nizam, 32, criticizing Yasmin’s physical fitness and diet.
