Amid accusations of racism involving Yasmin Brunet and Wanessa Camargo on BBB 24, the model’s mother, Luiza Brunet, spoke out on the internet.
In a post on her social media, Luiza stated that she raised her daughter in an anti-racist way and that she has been fighting against racial discrimination throughout her life.
“The repudiation of racism has always been part of my trajectory. With the upbringing of my daughter this was no different”, wrote Luiza. The 61-year-old actress stated that she plays her role by “listening daily to those who suffer from this disease and fighting to eradicate it.”
“I am certain that white women have a firm role to play in resolving this issue, after all, reparation must be accompanied by daily reprimand,” wrote Luiza.
“The learning against this great injustice of humanity is permanent,” added the actress.
Last Friday (26), Yasmin Brunet and Wanessa Camargo tried to convince other participants to expel Davi from the room.
In conversation with Wanessa, Yasmin confided that she considered David a liar, manipulative and violent. “I’m sleeping with the enemy,” said the Rio native. The dialogue sparked outrage on the internet.
Zezé di Camargo, Wanessa’s father, also came to his daughter’s defense on social media. “Accusations of racism are unfounded and anyone who really knows her knows and knows her heart, which, in fact, has shown understanding to Davi countless times,” wrote Zezé.
