After veto in Xuxa documentary, Andréa Sorvetão may be left out of project with paquitas

After being vetoed from Xuxa’s documentary on Globoplay, former paquita Andréa Sorvetão is not guaranteed participation in the platform’s new project about the paquitas’ trajectory.

Creator of the project, Tatiana Maranhão, who is also Xuxa’s advisor and assists ex-paquita Ana Paula Guimarães in directing and creating the documentary “Pra Semper so Bom: Paquitas”, tells the F5 that “all girls from all generations were invited. We never thought about doing anything different.”

Regarding whether Sorvetão gave any positive or negative signal to the invitation, Tatiana did not want to confirm or deny, but says that the recordings began recently and that statements are being collected. She reinforces: “Everyone was invited. Only those who don’t want to participate won’t participate.”

When contacted, Sorvetão did not respond whether he had received an invitation and whether he would accept getting back in touch with his former attraction companions.

Former paquita Ana Paula Almeida, known as Pituxita, preferred not to give an opinion on the matter. Asked if the atmosphere would be heavy if Sorvetão participated, she simply replied that “that’s very private”.

The atmosphere between Andréa and the other paquitas is not the best. A year ago, information emerged that she had been expelled from a WhatsApp group with only former Xuxa dancers. The revelation was made on a podcast by ex-paquita Lana Rhodes.

“We have a group of paquitas, made up of all the girls who went through the program, and recently we removed one member. We didn’t want her there anymore because you couldn’t have a dialogue with someone who doesn’t have a dialogue. We removed Andréa Sorvetão”, she told Barba Cast.

The statement caused the revolt of Conrado, Andréa’s husband, who stated that their lawyers would take the appropriate measures, as everything would be an invention. He argued that the woman had left the group on her own.

Last year, Andréa Sorvetão also said that she had forgiven Xuxa Meneghel after being the only ex-paquita completely excluded from the Rainha dos Baixinhos documentary on Globoplay. The influencer acknowledged that she was very upset with the presenter, but said that she had no regrets about the episode. “If God forgives, who am I not to forgive? I don’t hold grudges. It’s over,” she said in an interview with SBT.

Sorvetão and Xuxa broke up after the release of a video of the ex-paquita with singer Conrado, asking for work because they were “a straight, Christian and traditional couple”, in 2021.

The following year, the two became even more distant due to political differences, the same reason for the separation with the other stage assistants. Sorvetão was a supporter of former president Jair Bolsonaro, while the presenter was one of his main opponents.
