Prince Harry decided to travel to the United Kingdom as soon as he learned of King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis. The monarch’s youngest son with Princess Diana has already arrived in London and, according to the British network BBC, he does not intend to meet his brother William during the visit to his father.
Harry, who has lived in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children since 2020, was seen at Los Angeles international airport on Monday night, and as soon as he arrived in London he went straight to Clarence House, the king’s residence and of his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
The report found from royal sources that Harry made clear his desire not to meet his brother because of a turbulent relationship in recent years. The two do not speak to each other and this information was told in Harry’s autobiography, “What’s Left”, released last year. They fell out after William made comments about Meghan.
The cancer with which King Charles III was diagnosed would be at an early stage, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Tuesday (6), but the type of tumor is not yet known. In a recent statement, Buckingham Palace reported that the monarch has already begun treatment and will continue with household office duties. Appointments will be postponed or cancelled.
