Gionis “touches” the top 100 of the world ranking

Panagiotis Gionis may have been eliminated in the first round of the World Table Tennis Feeder in Manchester last Friday, however, even with minimal new points, he moved to number 101 from 104 last week.

Besides, with just a few points from their participation in the England tournament, Elisavet Terpou, Malamatenia Papadimitriou and Dimitra-Thomais Tsekoura also improved in the international evaluation table, which were eliminated in the qualifying table.

In the men’s world ranking, Gionis took just two points from Manchester and now with a total of 209, he climbed three places to number 101. For Konstantinos Angelakis and Yiannis Sgouropoulos who follow from the Greek side, it should be noted that they also appear , best position, regardless of whether they were missing from the last rated Feeder.

Angelakis is at number 301 (from 303) with 29 points and Sgouropoulos at 345 (from 349) with 22 points.

In the women’s world rankings, Terpou, Papadimitriou and Tsekoura each took a single point, after they all lost in Manchester in the first qualifying round of singles.
