The legendary albums “Fantastic” and “Make It Big” of WHAM! are set to be re-released after 30 years, according to Sony Music. They will be available from March 22 on a special edition colored and black vinyl.

It is noted that their first album ‘Fantastic’ released in 1983 with hits such as ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘Club Tropicana’, sold millions of copies worldwide and reached No.1 in the UK.

Their next album ‘Make It Big’, which turns 40 this year, along with iconic ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’, ‘Careless Whispers, ‘Everything She Wants’ and ‘Freedom’ reached the top both in the US and the UK.

“It’s a wonderful testament to the timelessness of WHAM’s songs! both from our fans and from young people who want to get the music in its original form”Andrew Ridgeley said in a statement.

The new release follows a stellar year for the legendary band, having released a special edition from Sony Music entitled ‘The Singles’ and followed up with a documentary tribute on Netflix. Also 39 years after its release, ‘Last Christmas’ became No.1 in the UK Christmas charts for the first time.
