Luiza Brunet says she is ‘obsessed’ with BBB 24 and suffers seeing Yasmin’s clash with Davi

One of the few guests who wore silver and gold at the 2024 World Cup Ball, Luiza Brunet opted for red. “I feel powerful with this color”, explains the model and businesswoman, a regular at the event — one of the most traditional of Rio’s festivities. “My Carnival starts with the Copa Ball. I’ve been coming since the 1980s.”

Luiza says she became “obsessed” with BBB because of her daughter Yasmin Brunet’s participation in the current edition of the Globo reality show. She says she has been following her sister’s clash with Davi Brito at the house.

The model believes that Yasmin does not know the impact of her positioning inside the house outside. “I suffer a little because it’s an issue I’m very interested in, the racial issue, especially for us, white people, right?”, she says. “I know that Yasmin and I are privileged white women and we have to understand this, we have to be careful and take a stand, because it brings understanding to society.”

Luiza says she learned of the eliminated Nizan’s intention to apologize to Yasmin for a series of sentences spoken during confinement about her body. “I think it’s cool that he wants to apologize because I think he really crossed the line a little bit,” she says. “It’s naturalized male behavior. It’s not just him. He demonstrated what society does and what we experience daily”, she comments, believing that her daughter will accept the apology.

“She will accept it because she is not a spiteful woman”, he assesses. “And I think it’s important when girls bring agendas here, whether it’s Yasmin, Wanessa or Leidy… Big Brother is a space for discussions, including politics. So, if they understand each other, that’s very good, because we’re out here applauding, crying and also changing our concept.”
