Cillian Murphy revealed which of his previous films he disliked so much.

The star of the Oscar-nominated film “Oppenheimer” has been involved in successful film projects including A Quiet Place Part II and Dunkirk.

In an interview with GQ, Cillian Murphy was asked about one of his lesser-known roles in the 2005 film Red Eye, in which he played charismatic hit man Jackson Ripner co-starring Rachel McAdams.

“I love Rachel McAdams and we had fun on set,” said the Irish actor. “But I don’t think it’s a good movie. It’s a good B-movie,” he argued.

Explaining why he chose to take part in the film, Cillian Murphy said: “I think it’s the duality. That’s why I wanted to play it. These two things. The good and the bad in one.” “The only reason I liked it is that you could do that” he reported.

In the film directed by Wes Craven, Jackson kidnaps the father (Brian Cox) of a hotel manager (McAdams) to help him in his mission to assassinate the head of the US Department of Homeland Security.

Also speaking to GQ about the filming of the movie “Red Eye”, Rachel McAdams recalled the good collaboration with Cillian Murphy.

“They say the nicest people sometimes make the best villains,” he said. “We’d listen to music and do a crossword puzzle, which he’d bring in every day and politely let me fly… I think the number one question I had for Killian back then was whether or not he wore contact lenses.” added the actress.
