Both Harewood and Erivo are former students of the School, which opened in Bloomsbury, London in 1904.

“As a former Rada student and someone who has enjoyed both the highs and lows of this industry, I feel I am ideally placed to help guide these young people on the sometimes difficult path from student to professional, bringing all the knowledge and the experience I have learned in a 30-year career” said David Hairwood. “I can’t wait to start this new journey and play a small part in influencing so many young and talented people” he added.

Cynthia Erivo said she wants to “play a valuable role in empowering the young talents of tomorrow.”
