The London Greek Words are proud of the production of 12 days, a brilliant celebration of Greek Christmas traditions, through traditional dance, live music and song.

This impressive show narrates the festive journey from Christmas Eve to Holy Epiphanycapturing the joy, deep spirituality and sense of collectivity that characterize one of the most beloved periods of the Greek calendar.

The public is called upon to entered a world where ancient customs They meet the vibrancy of modern celebration. In two parts, the 12 days follow the rhythm of the season: from the carols of children who carry wishes and blessings from house to house to traditional dances echoing in the squares of the villages and the disguises that mark the coming of the new year.

This production is distinguished for its extent and uniqueness. Over 125 dancers, aged 5 to 80, will present more than 50 dances in Greece and its cultural heritage. With more than 280 hours of rehearsal, the groups of the Greek High School embodies with dedication and respect for the love for dance, musical tradition and cultural identity. For the first time in the United Kingdom, the public will have the opportunity to get to know Northern Greece customs – a rare opportunity to see traditions that have never been presented outside their places of origin.

OR Music lining of the show includes authentic traditional instruments – Clarinet, lute, violin, zurna, lyre, bagpipes and percussion – while the scene will be accompanied by the Choir of the Byzantine Music School, giving the spiritual and functional element of the festive season, through hymns and choir members.
