Nathalia Santos, a journalist who was shot outside Marquês de Sapucaí on the 12th, was discharged from hospital this Tuesday (20). The former Globo contractor, who worked on Esquenta!, presented by Regina Casé in the 2010s, was shot in the hip area, underwent surgery and was left unable to move her feet. She will continue treatment at home.

Optimistic about her recovery, Nathalia used social media to tell her followers the news. “The beginning of a new era has arrived, now I’m discharged in the comfort of my mother’s house, with care and affection for my children, my husband, my brothers, my family and friends. I know that nothing will be the same as before, but as nothing has ever happened, let’s move on!”, he said.

She also stated that she had a lot of faith during the time she was in the hospital.”Happy and grateful for this new opportunity! A new, difficult, painful time with almost no certainty, but with a lot of faith! Starting over and reinventing will be mantras around here !”.

Nathalia also thanked all the messages of affection and prayers she received. She also asked her followers to cheer for her. “Continue making your requests, your prayers, your prayers, because I’m going to need it. Finally, I want to say that I’m alive and happy for that,” she concluded.
