Russell Crowe he decided to shave, since he had not had a good relationship with the razor for five years. The 59-year-old star of “Gladiator” wanted to give fans a little taste of his “transformation”, which, admittedly, makes him look younger.

The actor revealed it was the first time he’d shaved in five years, taking to X – formerly Twitter – to reveal his new look.

In an accompanying caption, Russell Crowe hinted that the “transformation” was for a film role, writing: “The actor prepares #20. First shave since 2019″.

Fans were quick to write in the comments and declare that the actor looked 20 years younger as they gave their approval to his new look.

The actor is set to star in the action film ‘The Beast In Me’, while he will play Hermann Göring in James Vanderbilt’s historical drama ‘Nuremberg’.

Russell also recently starred in the thriller Land of Bad alongside Liam and Luke Hemsworth, and will appear in the upcoming sci-fi film Kraven the Hunter.
