Raquel Welch’s favorite items, including movie costumes, awards and memorabilia will be auctioned off.

Julien’s Auction is holding the exclusive Bombshell: The Raquel Welch Collection auction on April 12 in Los Angeles.

Raquel Welch, who became an international star in the 1960s thanks to her roles in ‘One Million Years BC’, ‘Fantastic Voyage’ and ‘Bedazzled’, died last February aged 82 after a short illness.

“She was the one, rare Hollywood star who had it all – grace, charm and fierceness in the body of a goddess, whose stunning appearance in “One Million Years BC” became one of the most cinematic images in history and one of the posters best seller of all time” said Darren Julien, executive director/co-founder of Julien’s Auctions.

More than 500 items belonging to the actress will be sold at the auction from her iconic films and television series, such as the 1974 Golden Globe she won for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical for her role in “The Three Musketeers,” the plaque from a star ceremony on the Walk of Fame Hollywood in 1996 and a 2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550 convertible.

Creations by designers Bob Mackie, Norma Kamali and Givenchy that she wore to fashion shows and Hollywood events and jewelry are also being auctioned.

Some of the items will be featured in an exclusive European exhibition at The Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge, Ireland, from 23 February.
