Olivia Rodrigo turned 21 last Tuesday (20). And, at the opening of her “Guts” world tour, on Friday (23), the American singer decided to share with her fans how she celebrated reaching the legal drinking and smoking age in the United States.
“I went to the gas station the other day and bought a pack of cigarettes and a case of beer,” he said. She then clarified that she did not purchase the items for her own use. “I promise I didn’t consume it, but I bought it just because I could.”
Before amending the song “Teenage Dream”, the singer explained why she decided to share the information. “Anyway, all of this is to say that I think growing up isn’t so scary after all, and that life only gets better in the end,” she said.
