Incidents took place at dawn outside the Agricultural School in Athens as well as outside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In Athens, according to the police, shortly before 01.00 in the morning, forty people who participated in a concert at the Agricultural School went out to Athens Avenue, set fire to bins and caused damage to vehicles.
At the scene, strong police forces were found who, using tear gas and their actions, pushed them towards the area from where they came out in order to remove them from Athens Avenue.
Until 03.20 in the morning, dozens of people, according to the police, were throwing stones and molotov cocktails.

In Thessaloniki, by throwing Molotov cocktails and other objects, hooded men clashed with police forces shortly after midnight at the junction of Agios Dimitrios and Ethnikis Amyni streets outside the Aristotle University.
The police responded with tear gas and pushed them back.
The Molotov cocktails caused significant material damage to parked cars, which were removed after the incidents ended.
The fire service was called to put out fires set by strangers in trash cans, while an EKAv ambulance took a person with breathing problems.
