He has a sense of humor in the style of Franco Moschino, who pokes fun at the seriousness of fashion in a scandalous way. Is this just another one of Avavav’s gimmicks, or a way to express how the public likes to throw hate at fashion whenever they can?? pic.twitter.com/fIlRmjW3kl— Vestisse Magazine (@vestissezine) February 25, 2024

Two hours before the show, the venue looked nothing like a fashion show, as nearly 100 small white buckets were filled with banana and orange peels, Coke cans, water bottles and crumpled newspapers, most placed under the benches where she would be seated the public. White latex gloves marked Avavav were placed on each seat.
“This is our trash!” said Avavav PR manager Hannah Bjorkman. “So we don’t waste anything. We eat bananas like crazy!’
Actors, who had been hired to do so as part of the event, were the first to throw trash at the models, but then others from the public joined in. By the end of the show, the runway was completely covered in trash.
