THE Tom Hanks will be the narrator in a new documentary titled “The Bloody Hundredth”.

Apple TV+ after the premiere of the World War II drama “Masters of the Air” announced the new project, which honors the real heroes of the 100th Bomb Group of the US Air Force, known as the “Bloody Hundreth”, which conducted dangerous bombing raids over Nazi Germany.

The hour-long documentary is directed by Marc Herzog and Laurent Bouzereau with Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Getzman as executive producers.

The documentary ‘Bloody Hundredth’ showcases the true stories of the airmen featured in ‘Masters of the Air’.

“From the shock of Pearl Harbor to the joy of VE Day, ‘The Bloody Hundreth’ is a record of what a group of young Americans endured and achieved when their country and the world needed them most,” reads an official description.

“The Bloody Hundreth” will premiere on March 15 on the same day as the final episode of “Masters of the Air.”
