The much-anticipated series from BAFTA-winner Andrew Scott is set to premiere on April 4
Another exciting black-and-white trailer for Netflix’s highly anticipated miniseries ‘Ripley’, starring BAFTA-winner Andrew Scott, has been released.
According to the official synopsis, the ambitious series follows “Tom Ripley in 1960s New York when he is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy and bring back his wandering son.”
Based on Patricia Highsmith’s book series of the same name, the eight-episode television adaptation is written and directed by Steven Zaillian and directed by Oscar winner Robert Elswit.
Along with the Irish actor, who is also a producer of the series, Johnny Flynn (Johnny Flynn) and Dakota Fanning (Dakota Fanning) star.
The cast is completed by Coco Sumner (Eliot Sumner), Maurizio Lombardi (Maurizio Lombardi), Margherita Buy (Margherita Buy) and John Malkovich (John Malkovich).
According to Deadline, the series is expected to premiere on April 4.
