Nikolina joined the game in order to pass her own message as a person of the LGBTI+ community in a time of great social change in Greece and the My style Rocks it is the platform to get her message across.
Nikolina, at the age of 11, realized that she did not belong to the body in which she was born. With the support of her family, but also with the help of a team of specialist doctors, she began the gender transition process.
Nikolina specifically said: “I want to share a story from my life, which starts when I was 11 years old. I Nikolina was not always the person you see in front of you. I’m a girl born in the wrong body. I mean, I’m a transgender woman. This journey started when I was 11 years old, when I shared these feelings with my parents and with their support and help, but also with the help of experts, I understood myself and at the age of 12 I started hormone therapy and my gender transition journey” .
The player then spoke about what made her come forward with this revelation, saying that she would like to inspire other people who struggle with their identity to claim their dreams and fight for their place in this world.
