The two separated almost a year ago, according to court documents, and because the couple had a prenuptial agreement — they don’t have children — the divorce went relatively quickly, according to the Daily Mail.

The terms of their settlement were agreed in October and the couple only had to wait the required six months for the judge’s decision to take effect. So, according to the agreement, the famous artist will pay a lump sum of 1,250,000 dollars to her ex-husband as alimony.

Ariana Grande will also give him half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home and pay up to $25,000 for his attorneys’ fees.

Like the vast majority of divorces in California, Ariana Grande’s filing cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The couple began dating in January 2020 and married at Ariana’s home in Montecito, California on May 15, 2021. Their separation was announced in July 2023, with the singer filing for divorce in October.

Shortly after their split was made public, she moved on to a new relationship with her current boyfriend and her ‘Wicked’ co-star, Ethan Slater.
