And while celebrities have brought the subject of bathing to the fore, our question is one: How often should we bathe? And the answer lies in “balance”.

According to dermatologists, more than 1,000 species of good bacteria live and feed on the surface of the body. They are good, say those in charge, because they fight bad bacteria and keep the temperature in balance, as well as the body’s natural hydration processes. Of course, not washing very often and insisting on touching ourselves – especially in the facial area (mouth, nose, etc.) – leaves us exposed to viruses and any form of contagious disease.

And finally, what do we do? How many times a week should we bathe? Not very often, 3 times a week are recommended and this is to not remove from the surface of our body all the natural chemistry that protects us from exogenous bacterial “attacks” and keeps us healthy.
