‘I’m in love with Pitel’, says Gil do Vigor

Gil do Vigor already has a declared fan base on BBB 24. The participant in the 21st edition of the reality show said he was a fan of Giovanna Pitel.

“I’m in love with Pitel, she’s a wonderful girl, a fighter, a warrior, but I’m rooting for everyone. My fans are for Big Brother, I think it’s a program that has a lot of vigor in entertainment and also has a social role,” Gil said to F5. “If I have to choose one, I’d choose Pitel, but I think they all deserve it”, he adds.

Regarding the cases of racism that permeate almost all editions of the reality show, Gil believes that it is the program’s responsibility to bring the discussions to Brazil.

“The BBB has the role of bringing a debate to society. What is expected is that this debate does not stop on social media, that it is applied to our daily lives”, he assesses.

“Sometimes we observe situations that we may be reproducing without realizing it. On TV everything is magnified, there is a magnifying glass. It’s important that we are able to observe and think: ‘damn, could it be that I do this too and don’t realize it?’ It’s a good exercise as a society so that we can police ourselves, see and detect these errors and improve as people”, says Gil, who is dedicating himself to academic life but would not deny a return to the most watched house in Brazil.

“I would definitely come back, it’s a program that I love, that has reach in society. Just call and I’ll be there”, he said on the first day of Lollapalooza 24.
