US police executed search and seizure warrants at two houses belonging to rapper Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy, who is being investigated for rape.
The information is from the New York Times. According to the newspaper, two of the singer’s homes, one in Los Angeles and the other in Miami, were invaded by agents from the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations this Monday (25).
The artist faces several charges for rape and sex trafficking. In a note sent to the newspaper, police reported that “local forces in Los Angeles and Miami carried out law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation.” The rapper’s publicist did not comment on the case.
The TV channel Fox 11 obtained images of armed agents entering the rapper’s home in Los Angeles.
P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, or simply Diddy, is 54 years old and is considered one of the main drivers of hip-hop culture as a commercial product.
In November 2023, the rapper was accused by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, of raping her and forcing her to have sex with other men. The following month, a woman accused Diddy and two other men of raping her in a music studio in 2003, when she was 17.
In February of this year, producer Rodney Jones accused the rapper of making unwanted sexual contact with him and forcing him to hire prostitutes and participate in orgies. Diddy denies all allegations.
“Sickening accusations against me are being made by individuals who want to extort me. I will be clear: I have never done any of the horrible things they are alleging,” he said.
