Tom Cruise (Tom Cruise) these days is a busy star, which does not allow him to specify when the fans of “Top Gun” will be able to see its third sequel.
Variety confirmed in January that Paramount had greenlit “Top Gun 3” with the actor returning to the lead role.
Franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer said in an interview with ScreenRant that he doesn’t know when Cruise will have free time in his schedule to shoot the third “Top Gun” movie.
“Tom is amazing. We spent time together. We have a story. Joseph Kosinski had a great idea for where the story would go and [ο Toμ] he said he really liked it, so we’re developing it,” said the veteran producer.
“But you never know when it will be, because Tom is very busy. He’s doing “Mission: Impossible” right now and has another movie after that. Hopefully we’ll have a script he likes and we’ll be back on the air.”
