Zendaya opened up about her “complicated feelings” about how she’s grown since debuting on the Disney Channel sitcom, “Shake It Up”.

The Oakland-born actress – a two-time Emmy winner – at the age of just 27 spoke about the stress she felt after having to support her family from a young age, several years before she came of age.

The actress in an interview with “Vogue” when asked what her professional goals were when she was growing up, the star of “Euphoria” admitted that she finds the question a bit “funny” as it’s something she’s still trying to figure out…

“I don’t know if I had a choice. I have complicated feelings about children and fame and being in the limelight from a young age,” she explained. “We’ve seen many cases where this is detrimental.”

Looking back on her teenage years, Zendaya said: “I felt that I took on responsibilities that were not mine. I supported and helped the family from a young age as if I were an adult,” he noted.
