One of the last eliminated from BBB 24, saleswoman Beatriz Reis had a documentary that would be produced to tell her life story canceled by Globoplay. Globo’s streaming service wanted to tell the story of how Bia do Brás, as she also became known, became a “love it or hate it” person since she was born.
The documentary would also show what Beatriz’s routine was like as a popular store seller in Brás, a neighborhood on the east side of São Paulo. The idea was to listen to family members, doctors and even childhood friends.
A team was already ready to accompany family members and Bia herself. But the sister’s actions in recent weeks, such as disrespecting Tadeu Schmidt’s commands and making unnecessary advertisements during the program, made her rejection grow exponentially.
Bia, who was considered one of the edition’s favorites, ended up with more than 82% of the votes. As a result, in Globoplay’s opinion, the production of something about his life would not have the return they had with other docs by former BBBs, such as those by Gil do Vigor, Juliette Freire and Karol Conká.
In addition to her, streaming also has something in mind for the BBB 24 champion, Davi Brito. In this case, pre-production is at a more advanced stage, with the family’s steps being followed in recent days.
Wanted by F5, Globoplay admitted that it analyzed BBB 24 participants so that they could have their stories told, but says that it still has no confirmed production. “BBB mobilizes a huge audience and we naturally evaluated the possibility of producing spin offs/content derived from participants who stand out in the program”, said the company in a statement. “So far we have no confirmation of any, if we do we will confirm it soon.”
