The famous director Quentin Tarantino has reportedly abandoned his plans for the much-anticipated film “The Movie Critic”which would be the 10th he would shoot and at the same time his last project.

A publication by Deadline, citing an unnamed source close to the director, confirmed the news, underlining that Tarantino “simply changed his mind” about the production of the film and is now starting to rethink “what his last film will be.”

It is noted that the 61-year-old director has previously stated that he will only make 10 films before retiring from the director’s chair. Although “Kill Bill” was split into two parts, he counts it as one film while disregarding his first project “My Best Friend’s Birthday” which was never released, the Guardian reports.

The script for the much-discussed film “The Movie Critic”, as Tarantino had stated in 2023, revolved around a quirky and uncouth film critic who ran a film column in a porn magazine in the 70s. The film would also mark his third collaboration with Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt.
