Erick Jacquin complains about customers who wear flip-flops, shorts and a tank top to a restaurant

Erick Jacquin dives into the sea in a suit and tie to complain about customers who come to his restaurant in flip-flops, shorts and a tank top. In a video posted on his official Instagram page, the chef states that in his establishment you must wear a suit.

“Do you think it’s cool to go to the beach in a suit and tie? You do the same thing to me. Lots of beautiful women there, you in tank tops, ugly shorts, flip-flops, everything with hair, a cap,” he said.

After diving in, the judge on the culinary reality show MasterChef (Band) also stated that each place has the right type of clothing to enter.

“Do you think I’m right? We don’t go to the restaurant in shorts and flip-flops. [restaurante] Président is a suit, can be without a tie. It’s beautiful.”

In the comments, internet users criticized the chef’s video. “I want to be comfortable and fill my belly. I’m not going to wear a suit to go eat. Forget it!”, wrote Marcos Silva’s profile.

“This speech is prejudiced. I want to be comfortable and fill my belly. I’m not going to wear a suit to go eat. Forget it. I pay to eat and not parade”, said Rejane Ribeiro.

There were also those who agreed with Jacquin. “This is called good manners and politeness. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you can wear whatever you want in places. That’s right. Are you going to enter the forum in shorts to see if you’re not blocked?”
