Summer is approaching and we are already getting into festival rhythm, with the biggest festivals in the country from Release Athens until Rockwave have already announced this summer’s big headliners and the Festival of Athens and Epidaurus to secure some of the greatest domestic and international artists for a series of concerts – dedicated to important anniversaries.

So, like every year, this year too, we prepared the ultimate guide for this year’s concert summer, so you don’t miss your favorite artists and get your ticket in time. All you have to do is open your agenda and start marking the must music dates of the following months, from May to September.

  • Corey Taylor – May 28

One of the most recognizable voices and also the most important personalities of rock and metal music of the last thirty years, Corey Taylor, singer and leader of two (!) bands with multi-platinum (and parallel) careers: Slipknot and Stone Sour, comes to our country for a concert with his best-of hits.

Where; Municipal Theater of Lycabettus
Tickets: from €45

  • Rammstein – May 30

Rammstein are also coming to rock Athens, who made a surprise this year and included our country in their European tour. There were some hiccups at the beginning due to the issue facing O.A.K.A – and we almost lost our enthusiasm – however the issue of the concert location was resolved and the pre-sale continued as usual. So, we are getting ready for the “giant show” prepared by the German pioneers of industrial metal.

Where; O.A.K.A. (Exterior)
Tickets: From €88

  • Nick Cave and Colin Greenwood – June 1, 2, 3

Nick Cave

Nick Cave will be in our country again this year (we last saw him in an unforgettable concert in 2022) this time without the Bad Seeds, but “solo” or rather with his piano and Colin Greenwood of Radiohead by his side , for three rare appearances on the Main Stage of the Onassis Foundation Roof.

Where; Roof of the Onassis Foundation
Tickets: €35 – €150

  • Coldplay – June 8th and 9th

Coldplay’s first appearance in our country unfolded in a mini “thriller”, due to the unsuitability of OAKA to host events. Everything shows that the concert will finally take place as planned, that is, at OAKA, which is expected to reopen soon. The opening acts at Coldplay’s long-awaited sold out shows in Greece will be Maisie Peters and Antonia Kaouris.

Where; OAKA
Tickets: Sold out

  • Release Athens: The Offspring, The Subways, Danko Jones – June 9

Concert

This year’s Release Athens will open the curtain with a night that Offspring fans have been waiting for a long time – 15 years to be exact. We are of course talking about the return of the legendary rockers to Athens, which will in fact be the occasion to celebrate 30 years since the release of “Smash” – the record that introduced most of us to the Offspring and which still holds the record for the most successful rock record from an independent label. The Offspring will be flanked by Canadians Danko Jones, along with The Subways, who complete the rock ‘n’ roll line-up.

Where; Water Square
Tickets: Presale €60, VIP €175
