“I had promised that as soon as the song came out I would disappear from the internet”, said this year’s representative in Eurovision 2024 Marina Satti.

Speaking on the ERT1 show “Studio 4” and Nancy Zampetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos, he stated, among other things: “The song does well and not everyone likes it (…) I really wanted it to have a Greek element (…) I would like my song to express young people”.

“I don’t like to “polish” things” she said, saying that she never said “what is Greece”, placing herself in the related debate that has opened.

He added that he saw all the proposals sent for Eurovision, for the selection of the song. “We’ve been preparing the song since November,” he said, while admitting that “he was very nervous before the song was released.”

Marina Satti confessed that she was happy for the positive reactions from abroad when the song was released, while she said that in the previous times she did not feel ready to participate in Eurovision.

He also said: “Maybe in the past I couldn’t stand the positive comments”.

Initially, Marina Satti said: “Now, this effort is not mine, personal, individual. There are so many people who have coordinated to support this effort as well, and they are very creative.

So things happen with too much flow, too fast and I don’t even know what I have put into my daily life. Completely different things than what I have done so far. Dance lessons, singing lessons, every day, gymnastics and I don’t deal with anything else but the arts.”

He continued by saying: “My mom, for example, when the song was published on ERT, she had never heard it before, she told me “I was a little surprised, especially in the first part” and I said ok, then the next morning of course she sent me messages…”
